LMGDFAO! Someone gave me a -rep for a post i made in this thread. I knew it was coming, so i guess that means my plants are going to take a hit now or not grow as good... LOL too funny that hurts, maybe i should start up a new thread to blow off some steam... LOL

Well I tend to listen to the people with some kind of +rep. Better chance they know what they are talking about. Not saying any thing bad about the new guy with good ideas. Just sayin rep is like knowlege on this site it take's work

LOL because some people really do love this site and are on it all the time. Even though it won't effect your real life, it still sucks and you get pissed. It's like your favorite sports team losing or getting your ass kicked in a video game. I have gotten neg reps in the past and I even thought about leaving because I got 3 in a row! I was like WHAT THE FUCK!!?? But I decided to stay because I really do want to help people and learn more myself. So I said fuck it and I stayed. I am glad my rep is now back to normal. I just don't know if I would make a topic about it. O well, everyone is different I guess.

yeah but ya really can't go by ppl's reps b/c of little ass kids that come on here saying their 18 or older when their really 13 and then abuse the whole fucking thing by givin ppl neg./pos. reps for no fucking reason...that's not what it's there for soo I still think it needs to be removed cuz it's just mak'in ppl bitch

At least the more rep you have the more power you have in giving reps. The lower the rep, the less power you have. At least people who actually care about the site and post valuable info will have the upper hand most of the time. Worse comes to worse you can ask rollitup to see who is giving you excessive -reps. I'm sure he would know. (maybe not, who knows)

you could allways get ur mates to give u loads of +rep or even create a different account and give your other name loads of plus +rep ...so really the rep thing dosent count for much ,allso people can recieve rep for a funny story etc on the other topics then they could give bad advice on the growing section and people will think they know there shit coz they have loads of rep ????

Look threw and see. the people that don't like the rep system have no +rep. Is that why they hate? The people with +rep got it by working reading and helping, or just being nice to people helps. Passing on the knowledge for a greener tomorrow. The people with no rep are new to the site or have nothing to offer, or just slipped threw the crack's and never made a real impression on anyone they helped. Sorry if people don't like you maybe it cuz they don't know you. A friend with weed is a friend indeed. Happy growing to all.

Favorite people on the forum, Greennobody, Fdd, and Eastlos, maybe beacuse of the pictures though, they all have pretty cool ones, but it has nothing to do with there " rep ". That whole rep system is stupid, because any jerk can come on here and give someone -neg rep, but people who have been on here for even a week already know whos who, and if one of those people get -5 rep its not going to change how everyone thinks about them. Its obvious who the people are on this website who are helpin everyone out, and those people have the highest rep, even if it dosnt say they have the highest rep, every1 shows them the most respect. Green nobody could have no rep right now, but people already know who he is and respect him becuase he takes his time to help alot of growers out. He took time to help me answer a problem about yellow leaves, which im sure another newb asks every day. And theres lots more of you more expeirenced growers that help out a bunch, mogie.. videoman..russor.. have all most likely helped me out one time or another. Fletch iv seen you in alot of posts, and sounds like you know what ur doin, so I wouldnt worry about that rep system, because most people on here appreciate your help, and will show you respect, no matter what that stupid rep thing says.

ps. By the way, been really curious about this for a while, fdd are you a guy or a lady? im not trying to poke fun or anything, and I know it dosnt matter, iv just been thinkin bout it for a while =)

that right there is exactly what i'm saying.....it's ppl like this that are abuseing the whole fucking rep system....it's not there soo you can have your friends giv you + rep for no reason besides them being your friend or for you to make a NEW accout just soo you can make your rep better.........if I used the rep system I would acctually give you a + just for makeing my point
