to auto or not ?

Well here's the deal. I need a quick starting propetual harvest. 1 or 2 strains (all from clone) or auto flower strain with all diff. stages under HPS lamps.

What do you think ? remember quick HIGH yields are my goal here

I've been growing the Auto AK47. It has some excellent genetics. They show preflowers around two weeks. I start new ones every month so that I'm also harvesting every month. No cloning though, you can only make seeds. I grow them under 18/6 and yield around 2 OZ average per plant. The smoke is amazing.

But depending on your setup, you may not want to have to deal with pulling males constantly.

They are advertised as going from seed to harvest in 70 days but I find that most of them don't make it that long. 9 weeks seems to be my average.

what kind of lighting are you using ? what's your lumens per plant to yield 2 oz . per ?

Seeing this make me think about leaving the regular strains, how tall does your autos let?

In my current setup I dont have a higt limits but on my future setup i'll have and i'm thinking on a scrog but autos can be a good option.

you can get fem auto seeds now, but you will have to keep shelling out for em

I'm using a 400W HPS from start to finish. I bought a 10 pack from Dr. Chronic and started 5. Grew those out, harvested some pollen, and ended with 2 beautiful ladies, one with a little over 2 Oz and one with an 1 & 1/2Oz. About a month before I cut, I threw in the other 5 and got two more ladies, one of which I'll pollinate a branch for seeds and grow a few more than just 2 at a time.

Size can vary from short and stout to this monster I'm currently growing. I'm not sure about lumens per plant but I keep that bulb within 5 inches of the biggest girl.

I would never buy the fem seeds if you plan on doing lots of these. Seeding is the only way you get to spread the favourable genetics.

I also use Fox Farm, just the trio of nutes. They seem to love that juice.

yes!


auto- flowering feminised is what i would go with in your situation. quick harvest, very compact, and garunteed.

as for yield that will depend on the strain.
