You dont need booby traps for deer or rodents, just natural deterrents.

If your worried about jackers, then your spot isnt concealed enough an you need to put more time and effort into your grow spot.

As far as booby traps, as indicators wouldnt be a bad idea.

But booby traps to injure someone, not a bright idea. If I was walking through the woods on a hike, myself or my dog got injured by a booby trap, I'd stick around an gut the mother fucker.

And as far as the police go, they'd do the same thing, only with criminal charges. I'm sure they'd label it something along the lines of cultivation, and assault on a police officer in whatever degree.

im tired of hearing about the police i know what they do so lets stop talking about those cock suckers!!!
 
you could set up your garden then mess up the terrain all around it so its just REALLY hard to get to. it would be a lot of work but worth it to keep your spot safe
 
there is a way to set up shotgun shells in small lengths of pipe underground landmine style cheap and easy. plus small animals wont set them off
 
pits are good boobie traps. just dig a steep hole w/ small diameter, cover with leaves, boom, sprained or broken ankle, hikes over, grow remains unfound.
 
get a couple old shotguns and mount them up in the trees and run trip wires so that when they hit the wires the guns shoot a blank into the air. scare the shit out of anyone

My back yard has been inspected by the police, and they approved our security measures. All non lethal but designed to be a barrier to rapid entry or egress. I also use a large number of motion sensors on separate channels, giving me an idea of where any intruders come in.

I NEVER leave my home after dark from August 15th, through November 15(roughly).

For the first fifteen years I grew, our only security was silence. No one knew we grew, until our son brought home a kid who recognized it.

We were ripped twice, after that. Fortunately, neither group of thieves were up to carrying away everything.

Since I coated my greenhouses with Chainlink and strung barbed wire in many directions, I'm outside before anyone gets close to the plants.

Keep in mind that I know where everything is, and have done things in a way that allows me to move freely around the garden, but would make a person trying to be stealthy, extremely unhappy.
 
ya'll are pussy putting up booby traps. I wouldn't jack someones plants if i found them but if i got a fish hook in my cheek or stepped on a board of nails in the middle of nowhere I would assume there's weed around and I would take it all even if it was vegging just cuz they're dicks and give marijuana a bad name.

put 2x4's on the botton of the pit, but place them feet length distance apart, and 2 inch side on the ground. so wen they fall in the DO sprain sumthin. that way they dont just climb out and go around it.:fire:
 
There's a way to rig rat traps or mouse traps to fire shotgun shells, then you hook a trip wire to them. I think it's in the "Anarchist's Cookbook". I would recommend taking the shot out of the shells and replacing it with rock salt or another less lethal alternative. get some 4 inch 12 gauge shells or even some 10 gauge if you want a louder bang.
 
HHAAha funny shit but if you put up fishhooks n stuff your gonna get the cops called on you. Pot growing is one thing...booby trapping recreational areas to hide it is another.
Just dont make trails'
And spread out ur patches...its better to go into it w the mindset that your GONNA lose some plants..
 
dig an dowel to act as an axle into the ground, a panel swings freely hinged the axle, panle is supported lightly above pit, panel has stakes, nails whatever pointing inward relative too the pit. it is hidden just like any pitfall trap. but its kinda hard to get your leg out for obvious reasons. i don't actually use this for growing dope, but its a damn good booby trap.- fishhook foottrap
 
also, dope growers already had a bad name, at least in this country(usa!). if you don't want to get lumped with us then get a different hobby. nobody is gonna change how they live because other people who share their hobby don't agree with how they go about it. many of us have personal bones with the fuzzy boys in blue, i know a lot of you would love to hear you caught a cop on a stick.
