To catch a male? How much time do I have?

So I recently put my plants into flower about a week ago. I have several females that have started showing pistils which is great!
My only concern is I know there are a few males in the batch. I have 6 plants total. It seems two have shown pistils, two have not began to show any type of sex at all, and two have begun growing something I am just not sure yet if they are balls or pistils. So how much time do I have to sex these plants before it's too late?

ya like sunni said youll be fine. youll definitely be able to tell the sex before the male orgams release pollen.

Okay good. I check the plants like twice a day. I was just nervous that they would pollinate before I could tell. I've heard stories of males pollinating just 10 days into flower. I don't know how likely or true this is but I've heard it could happen. I'm 7 days deep so I was starting to get concerned.

Sorry, this kind of confused me? So when a plant grows from seed when does it develop its sex? Are you saying that since most of them weren't showing pre-flowers when I flipped to 12/12 they have not yet developed there sex?

let me rephrase you said you heard a story of males pollentating females 10 days into flower
so i said, because they were already developed males they pollinate , your plants by the sound of it have not reached sexual maturity so it would be impossible for them to flower anythin if they dont have sex yet

your plants can show sex regardless of 12/12 they show sex when they are sexually mature, 12/12 makes them go into flowering so they often show sex within 7-14 days of 12/12

Okay, this is what I thought I just wanted to be sure. Okay well that's definitely a relief. So the males will be pretty clearly males before I have to worry about them pollinating? Will pollen sacks begin to develop?
