View attachment 2515455View attachment 2515469View attachment 2515470 ok the first and last pic is the main cola and when put under the microscope at 60x-100x the trics r cloudy and amber, But the bottom half of plant is cloudy and clear plus the ones on the bottom r small and still look underdeveloped i was thinking that i was just gonna cut main cola and let underside develope. I guess my question is should i do this? Is it gonna hurt the plant to much to continue to make the buds. But id b taking the main stem and not Sure cuz its going to take like the top half of plant, not Sure if its to much stress. Please help a guy out, strand is sannies sugar punch its 7.5 weeks into flowering and hes timeline says 8-10 weeks......

It is relatively common to harvest parts of the plant as they are mature. Some plants seem to mature at about the same time and some don't. By taking off the mature parts and harvesting the rest of the plant when it is ready, you are maximizing the thc and trichome production of those lower parts. By taking the mature bud off you are allowing more light to get to the bottom of the plant and thc production in those lower trichs will go up as they mature. It is all a matter of personal preference. I have done it both ways and although it didn't really affect the weight, after testing with cannalyse I def saw a difference in cannabinoid content. In fact, I first saw this method at the cannabis college while visiting Amsterdam.

Well that makes me happy cuz i really wanted too But i wasnt Sure cuz its the first grow inside.... So what i got out of that is that its gonna b ok to clip the main stem/ main cola and a couple branchs that it wont stress the left over plant too much and mess me all up LOL Sorry u know kinda a dense sometimes so half to b Sure and Thanks a bunch for the info

The lower buds might not be getting enough light so they are developing slower than the tops. It is totally fine to harvest the top buds that are ready and start to dry them while you let the lower buds ripen. You should also lower the light so the lower buds will have more lighting to reach their peak. Next grow you may want to train your plants differently so you can maximize light coverage and even trim off lower growth in veg that will not get enough light. Any pics of the plants and the lighting setup??

What about trics those on the bigger bud r amber and cloudy no clear trics atleast on that bud
Are you sure you are looking at the bud and not the sugar leaves? The trichs on the sugar leaves will darken before the ones on the bud.

Anywho, that plant will fatten up a lot more if you let her go more. The pistils will start to recede into the calaxys and they will swell up like little popcorn balls.

Another thing came to mind.

Whey you say 7.5 weeks into flower do you mean 7.5 weeks since you switched the light to 12/12 or 7.5 weeks from when flowering actually started?

You really shouldn't start counting flowering time until flowering acutally starts. That is normally 6-10 days after the lights have been changed to 12/12 from my experience.

I agree with above, if it's 7.5 weeks since the light switch, then WAIT!
Don't confuse amber trics with the brown leaf edge...
