To flip or not to flip

I'm almost on week five of growing out 2 autos and 2 photoperiods in the same tent . Im runny out of room as the tents only 4 feet tall and the lights cut out a good bit of space raised at the highest I. Can using the cables it came with . I'm new and thought Id have space . But if I don't flip soon the photoperiods will outgrow the tent . Will I still yeild an allright amount on these autos . I've been running then on 18/6 from day one .2025-03-09.jpg
 
It does not matter to the autos what you do with the light flip. They will flower when they are good and ready unless you stress them bigly. The autos will loose the extra light from the time change if they are not mature enough to flower.

Dude you saw how full my tent got with 2 plants. Much stress was had by all.

Put the autos in the corner and hope you can train them to stay close to the outline of your pot for vertical growth. Spread the photos out horizontally and just try to keep both types close to the same hight.

Hopefully you have good full time ventilation going on as after the flip the photos go nuts. ( At least mine did)

I've just heard a lot of people say that when you run under 1212 lighting with autoflowers you don't yield nearly as much so I was worried in that factor especially since I'm only running a hundred Watts on an LED light. But it doesn't seem like I have much of a choice anyways so I just flipped today and I'm hoping for the best

Not everyone can drop 100$ on a dime of a hat. Was under the impression 100w would be plenty when I first grew. So the word might lies heavily in the financial factors . So yes Might lmao
 
I know the money thing.

when I went to get wood to resurface the back porch I was so shocked. I put the whole deck on for like 15% of what the 5/4 boards and screws cost.

I thought about it and sold a few hobby related items so I did not have to put it on a credit card.
I really do not need an air powered crossbow anyways.........

Well I bought it lol cause it was on sale so I obviously couldn't pass the deal up . I also got there smart humidifier I've been wanting for a few months now ...

Now with 2 you will need a light tool to balance the lights.
Lux meter for the win.
 
Is there a reason you dont want to prune back the photo plants? Thats always an option, if you want the autos to fill out some more before flipping to 12/12. Photo plants will recover and keep growing, no problem.
 
Normal seeds I plan on veg till abour 1 foot plant tall-not including pot. depends on the type aim for at least double in size but often add another foot. So a 4 ft room you have stick with solid 1ft tall vegg plants turn em loose 12/12 and start counting the weeks.
