To Flower or Not to Flower, That is the Question

I am 46 days into my first grow and am wondering, is it time to flower? So if someone could take a look and tell me when to begin flowering that would be a big help, Thanks.

Also four of the six plants are at about 40 days, One is at 46 days and one is at 37 days, will this play a factor in flowering?

Is there anything I should know before I decide to put the plants into flower?

i like to go by size. plants tend to triple in size after you start the flowering process. i started my plants when they were 10 inches tall so i could expect a 30 inch tall plant in the end. it all depends on your alloted space to grow. i have a small space to im trying to keep mine small. by the looks of your it looks like they could flower now but i cant tell how tall they are. bushy bitches tho, nice job.

they will at least double in size, you can look up the strain and see it's growth characteristics, for instance i found the my lemon skunk grows 114% when flowering is induced, so i'm looking at an 8 ft plant (lst of course) haha

flowering can cause a lot of stress so they must be healthy, yours look good and i see no problems flowering them already. as for the ones with different ages, it won't make a difference some will just have vegged longer

Okay thanks, I think I will start flowing sometimes in the next couple of days.

I would like to clone the plants should I do this before or after I put them into flowering?

Take cuttings now. This is the best time.

Be sure to remove as much of the lower B.S. that isn't getting any light. You don't want airbuds.

The shaded budsites will only waste the plants' energy and resources on keeping them alive, and produce will-o-wispy buds if they don't get enough light. Their situation will only worsen as the main and secondary branches expand and grab hog up the light.

You can take cuttings up to the 10-14th day of flowering as you trim off any more potential LARF sites.

You can remove half the foliage, in fact rt now, and the plant will appear as though nothing had happened to it 2 weeks from now. Yeah, that's how much new foliage is produced the first two weeks of flowering.

Let the fireworks begin!
