:mrgreen:Hi everyone....I have read a ton of flushing and not flushing and can't seem to find that piece of breakthrough info....seems like it's a matter of taste and preference......I have flushed several times throughout the grow...once after a nute burn and then regularly after that.....I have my plants in DWC (waterfarms) and they are about 7 weeks into flower(indica dom, god bud)....should I start flushing now?(two week flush) Leave em another week then start? Two days at the end? I feed em the LUcas formula with koolbloom and molases (every second feeding)
thanks!:joint:

I use to run the water farm bucket. I started to flush 1 week before harvest after first 3 days i dumped the water and filled it back up again with 35% h202 at 5.5ml per gallon. You can tell a strain has been flushed or not by looking at the ash. Not a lot of people knpw this but if u flush properly and long enough after you smoke the flower the ash turns white if the plant wasn't properly flushed the ash will stay dark brown/black. Smoother smoke when it turns white :)

If you have more than 1 plant, flush some and don't flush others and then compare the end results yourself and make up your own mind. personally I think flushing is a waste of time, but that is my opinion.

If you ever get a chance get one nug off a flushed plant and one off a non flushed plant pack a bowl of each and compare the difference really is there. Your plants are loaded with synthetic salts from the nutrients you've been feeding them. With the water you flush them with your diluting all that salt build up and even getting rid of most of it. On that hand i also dont think that all organic should flush no salt build up in the plant matter it self so whats the point. So i guess it all come down to what kind of growing your doing :-D

Back when I grew a lot, I flushed at least once every two years.... when I had a problem that could not be otherwise identified. My advice is not to flush unless you think you screwed the pooch. Then fix your mistakes by flushing back to nil and build again....

Thats like saying if you see signed of lung cancer by coughing up blood don't worry about it till you cant breathe Im sorry but this is retarded. Its like pissing in a volcano AFTER it already erupted how does that make sense?
