**to flush or not to flush**

right ive read a lot on flushing and im still not sure what to do but ive come up with a plan, this is what ive decided to do

im gunna feed with full strength nutes all way till last week of flower, cut down to half in the last week then as their ready to be cut down take them to the bathroom give them a real hard flushing (like 4times the amount of soil) put them back in growroom to dry out for 2-3 days then cut and hang!!

i wanna get bigger yeild , obviously every1 does but i read that feeding all way thru gives much better results as far as bud size goes, taste and burning isnt supposed to be effected either,.

i dont kno how true this is, if any1 want to join this thread and say what theyve done in the past and what their favoured method is now ur all welcome!!

flush man, dont waste over 100 days just for crappy tasting buds cus u couldnt wait man

but dont flush for like 2 weeks, they only need to be flushed a few days imo

thats wot im on bout buddy, some people flush for 2weeks, im thinking slam the neuts in right until the end and flush in the bath once b4 harvest??????

the last 2weeks is when the buds swell the most so im thinkin slam the neuts in to help em swell instead of flushing over tha period and starving them of P and K when they need it the most??

I flush for the last week. I don't like going 2 weeks as this is the time when the buds really swell up.

I do like my smoke clean though so I do flush thoroughly. I don't believe in cutting the nutes in 1/2, then going to none, just go to none.

If you chew on the leaves you can taste the chemicals....try it, it works. When they don't taste bitter they are ready

ok man thanx again for all ur help, ill slam the neuts until the last week (their taking full neuts already at wk4 without any signs of burn) flush for 5-7days then check em out, cant wait lol

Good luck...should be smooth sailing from 4 weeks on. Whatever happens now you pretty much just ignore. Just basically gonna ride it out till the end.

You allways want to flush on a regular cycle. If you feed them full strenght nutes you are going to create some issues. Mass nutes does not mean large yields. The idea is to give your plants what they need. They cant use more then they need and will get locked out by over fertilizing. Get a tds meter or a ec meter so you can feed properly. I use SuperNatural Nutes. Full strenght measures around 1500ppm. The max for flowering in hydro is around 1000-1200ppm. For soil its 900-1100ppm. Good luck with your grow. Peace Out!

i was wondering about flushing. i grow in soil and don't use a drip tray so i take my girls to the bathroom and flush with easily 3 times the quantity of the pot. do i repeat the process with every scheduled feed 'til its time to harvest or is one good flush the norm then plain ph'd water 'til the end?
