check this out should help, hard to tell without pics, it depends on the strain and Indica or Sativa. Indica takes about 8 wks and sativa up to 14. Clone or seed, stress, alot of things could slow or speed up time.

didnt see pics, id say wait for scope....1.5-2weeks.

This is my first grow. I've messed up a few things, including nute burn, ph off, and some difficulties with spidermites. I got it all under control now, however some leaves are really damaged from my attempts to rid the mites with alcohol (didn't dilute, although the mites are gone!).

One week later after this original post....
I got my jewlers loupe in the mail, checked the trichs and they seem very cloudy, no amber tint on any of them. I will continue to wait as long as needed. I will also follow the advice of other ways to tell when its time to harvest that have been posted in other threads.
