To harvest or not...?

My White Rhino and UK Cheese are just about to complete their 8th week in flowering. All good so far, but today I realised that a lot of the trics have turned amber (well atleast half). Now working on a theory that these are both upto 9 - 10 week flowering strains, what would be best? I can give them just water for at least the next 5 or 6 days to flush them out, and then harvest, but will that be sufficient? A lot of effort, blood, sweat and tears have gone into these plants and I would hate to fall so close to the end. Please advise.

I don't think pics are necessary in this case.If you say that's where the trichs are,that's where the trichs are.To answer your question,cut it now and try to make up for the short flush with a long cure.

I think I'd like to know what sort of media/ferts you are using prior to just saying "Chop Now". If you're organic then that would be the appropriate answer - not so if they are loaded up with chem's.
If it were me and doing a non organic soil grow/hydro then I'd probably do a really good flush & then chop in about 3 days or so.
Gotta get some of the chemicals out of the bud so its tasty and doesn't crackle when burned.

No heavy chems, so a couple of days of nothing but water, and thn cut them down. i believe hat's the best idea so far. Unless domeone has a better one... Will try to get some pics up too.

You sure they are 50% amber? Those look like they have 2 or 3 weeks at least to go. Looks like all the hairs are even still white. How are you checking the trichs? PS by posting pics I guess that debate was settled! LOL

Those have a few weeks left in them. You could flush and harvest now but you're not gonna get anywhere near what the plant can produce for bud as they are now.

Hold Off, I know the temptation of smoking your plants may be strong but, you can do it!

I agree, I'm not so sure they are as done as you are thinking. I see a lot of white hairs & typically they darken and recede into the bud when its time. Do you have a scope that you're checking trich's with?
I don't mean to sound condescending, but you do know that the hairs (pistols) and Trich's are not the same thing?
