To late to lollipop??

Normally I've cleaned out the majority of my insides by now... my schedules been so hectic lately havent gotten around to it....not sure if it would just stress the plant out at this point of being counter productive.... any opinions would be appreciated.... thanks

What stage is the plant? Vegging should be fine. In the stretch or flower I wouldn't recommend it.

I've been tempted to Lollipop this little lady but so far have just been lightly pruning off some lower leaves and small stems. And since she's so dense, I don't figure the bottom leaves are getting too much light anyways. My other reason for wanting to remove some undergrowth is to prep for the possibility of a wet/humid fall and I figure that it should help a lot with airflow and mold prevention.

She is still veggin' out right now. I'm in Toronto and don't figure I'll see flower until August. ‎

No worries...! More knoledge on different expeiences never hurt. Feel dumb but Pretty sure a few of them are starting to stretch for sure... running all new genetics this year.... on a new property with differnt light from new hills and trees... i've always tried to keep everything medium sized out of respect for the neighbors..... this is my first time growing real trees with a early indoor veg... kind of unsure if it's just larger plants just having robust growth or if they're ready to flower.... I've always heard from indoor experience to leave them alone a week or two before flower

I'd leave her be she looks very pretty and I think rather short to consider lollipop

Thanks Resin! Only problem is that as you were writing that post, I was busy cutting away with a razor blade!

After I posted that earlier I kept thinking about it and decided that a LIGHT lollipopping would be good. I didn't want to stress the plant too much but it was obvious that there were a lot of lower branches that were leggy and not getting the light they would need to be productive.

My motivation was also to make some clones since I've never tried. So I took off only 5 lower branches and have started my own nerdy little botanical experiment.

I had been doing some reading about using honey in place of rooting products, so I did two clones with rooting gel, two with honey, and one with a 50/50 mix of the two. It's not perfectly scientific but may give some interesting results.

Here's a pic of my evening's work. The honey clone in the top left is a fairly thick branch so I'm curious to see if it roots.

I agree with 757.... If she is still in full veg go for it if you want...
If showing signs of going into flower...then no

My hands are already hurting thinking about all the larf

Try the mainlining/manifold method next yr. No lollipopping and little to no larf....plus increased yields.
