To LST or NOT?

Ok I am no pro. Usually I LST a plant by tying the main stem down once (around 3 weeks old). Thats it, and it branches upwards into 4 or 5 new colas. I dont LST any further, just let it grow. What happens if you dont LST at all, will the plant flower more along the main c
stem? Kinda like those 12-12 plants Ive seen online?

If you don't LST at all, they tend to grow in typical tree/bush shape. Some of them have main colas that rocket up the center, some of them have regular main colas with many side branches closely following in height. If you're trying to take advantage of all of the light you have, don't grow them this way.

Only time you wouldn't want to lst is if you are doing a SoG with lots of pants in smaller pots.

I didn't lst my current auto, but it's my first auto and did not want it to get to wide (space concerns) which is about the same reason as I gave for sog.

The reason you LST is to get a more even spread of light across the entire length of the plant. If you do not LST the top of the plants will get the majority of the light and the bottom of the plant will get hardly any causing the buds to stay very small.
