Heyoh fellow rollers.
I decided to get down to tracking my grow through a journal.
I've been growing only for two years now. I grew my first buds with a small tent, homemade cfl fixture/reflector, and a ducking booster fan. Basic equipment but I learned the ropes with it and have been upgrading this and that over time.
Now Ive just gotten a 2nd "complete" grow space, so I'm going to start a 2 light rotation.
I have been growing feminized sour d from seeds, though they came from a friend of a friend, not a seed bank.
Setup:
2x2 tent
3x3 tent
150w hps
400w hps and 400w mhl (e-ballast)
2 ducting fans (~240cfm)
Coco coir
Mo'koko AB for veg (wtf right!? But it works)
Mo'koko AB for flower

Now, I aware of what's wrong with this picture....I got the bigger tent and 400w bulbs (left) only a week ago, while the small tent (right) is 39 days into flowering - they are happy and stuck in a net so I will leave them there until harvest before switching to flower in the big tent and veg in the small.

I'm sharing this to get insights and hopefully benefit from others' experiences. As well, I want to try different things and dip in my grow for best results. A journal will definitely help me keep track of it!
Cheers!

Veg tent
Got 4 clones i took befrore throwing mom into flowering, so 39 days ago. I was planning to keep only 2 of the 4 but only had a small fit grow box to veg in at the time. Now I'll keep all 4.
They lacked proper space, ventilation and light for the first few weeks, so they grew slowly and unevenly - 2 have big inter nodes spacing, other 2 were being miniaturized. I have them under a 400w MH turned down to 150w. Temps are good and humidity is a bit low, so I'm testing buckets and trays of water before booking up a humidifier.
I will resume training when they bush out a bit more first, and get accustomed to their new home. Hopefully 3-4 weeks should be enough and I'll flip them when I harvest the small tent - where I'll start more clones and/or seedlings. So not doing much other than watering them with now full nutes, every few days - I'm letting the coco pots dry out (top inch) before watering. I suppose I'll have to transplant them sooner rather than later, but I really want to see them thrive a bit before doing anything to them.

Flower tent
Here everything g is looking good 39 days into 12/12z This is my first flowering with a HPS (150w), I used cfls before and already, half way through, the colas are looking as big my previous harvests with CFLs, AND frostier too, so i can't wait to see them finish.
I had a bit of an issue 2 weeks ago - my PH meter was way off and I watered them 3-4 times with too low a ph (4-5) and so bud hairs started burning/drying off. I looked at everything, and when I found and calibrated my ph problem, everything returned to normal - save for burnt pistils on 2-3 tops.
