To Prune Or Not To Prune ?

I was curious as to what you gentlemen prefer,I was "told" that the purple(ish) stemmed big fan type leaves on the plant you want to prune off to let in more light ? Im confused and would like to know the correct way to care for my ladies.Anyone willing to shed some light ( Ha Ha) on this for me I would Appreciate The Help......

No. Don't trim fan leaves. The leaves process all the energy for the plant. They don't grow bigger so they can hog all the energy. They're there to grow the plant. Trust mother nature. She's better at this than you are.

i just push the big leaves behind the buds. however i am a fan of cutting the bullshit popcorn sites off (lower few nodes)

Mother Nature Will Always be better than I....However,In the quest to help the plant along I have heard this myth and wanted to get opinions from those that have been doing it awhile,this is my first grow so Input just makes me more confident in the grow room 'cause I have little to no Idea as o what to do... Ok so everything I have read thus far has apparently been a debate and like everything in growing everyone has their way of doing things.There are beneficial and detrimental affects to trimming the fan leaves...For Me Im gonna leave them be.I found a long article which explained alot and listed pro's and con's.Maybe this will help others ?
