To prune or not to prune

should I thin out some of the upper and/or lower leaves? This plant is almost too bushy and a lot of shoots are stuck under the canopy.

Nice healthy plant I would thin some of the top stuff to allow some light to allow light to some of lower stuff

With veg plants I prune fairly freely. With a bushy plant, it's good to claer out some of the central area growth to increase light penetration like Horribleherk said.

Once they start flowering though you want to take it easy...

PS You might want to clear out any sucker shoots while you're at it. Concentrate bud on main stems.

She looks good. That's about the same amount that I would normally do...in preparation for bloom. Almost for certain, she'll produce better for you...
