do you guys think it would be worth it to convert my grow into a scrog? grow link in sig

My space is also sort-of in an attic, but about a third of the size of yours, Im scrogging. I would say if you really enjoy hanging out in your room and watching every branch grow from your plants and would like to direct it where you want, then scrog. If you prefer to get in and get the hell out before anyone misses you, then dont.

true that spicolli... the scrog is more work but it creates a blanket of nuggets. It's a joy to watch all of those bud sites fill out

I have a dumb question. With the scrog method is the purpose to create a blanket of nugs that coat the screen? If so what would be the purpose of letting your plants get so tall? Or do you do the scrog to spread out the branches and let them get tall. sorry if the question sounds dumb, i'm just curious.
Growing normally your main cola gets most of the light with the side colas getting a little more and as you get toward the bottom of your plant you have little popcorn buds. When you scrog, you're weaving the plant through the screen in an attempt to have your light spread evenly over the canopy letting multiple colas grow towards the light (everything stays a uniform height).

Its really hard to see it with these pictures... but I have actually tried to create a bowl shape with the branches around the outside the screen taller than the branches in the middle. This way all the budsites get the same amount of energy. Problem for me is that my 4' square screen is totally overloaded the plants are in a 5' x 6' area. Does that make any sense???
