To top or not to top

LOL good drainage is a must!!!!!!! if you don't have good drainage how are your roots suposed to breath??? *yes your roots need air too*

I use a soil mixture that is 40% sand, 20% that white stone shit *don't know the name at the moment&* and 40% compost.

sand really really helps with drainage

im gonna take some new pics..and upload em.. everybody says my plant looked indica with the huge leaves...but its gettin tall... confusing

yeah don't top in flower... it stresses them out...

as genfranco said only in veg do you top and lst and stuff....

Is topping as simple as making a straight cut across where the buds are starting to appear? Or can someone describe in detail how to properly top. I am thinking of growing 20 plants outside this coming spring and i will probably try topping a couple to see how they do.

what you do is you let your plants go 5-7 nodes of growth *node = branch set*

snip the top like a 1/2" - 3/4" above that node and let it grow.... if you let it grow a bit bigger and cut it back to the 5th node... you can clone the top ;)

mine just started to flower I can't wait to wake up in the morning and take a look at two of them big colas side by side.... :D

I love little bushes!
