Patients is a virtue. But this coming from the guy who pop the beans down within 30 minutes of getting them. LOL The excitement comes from the same goal though. Purple. Breeding, crossbreeding and seeds. That for me is what the Purples Rains and Querkles are about this grow. Of course I try and finish at least one of each. But strong characteristics will play a big role with these two. The Red Diesel and some of the freebies I am going to grow will be my fun in sharing a Cowboy style grow. Remember it will be my last for a good while. So I may get a little wacking. The Pr and Q left out of the fun. All business for them. At least until springbreak for a selected few.

And it soil mixing day. Here is my basic recipe:
Per cubic foot of peat moss-
24 cups worm castings
1/4 cup rock phosphate
1/2 cup dolomite lime
2/3 cup greensand
1/4 cup azomite
1/3 cup epsoms salts
7-8 Tbl rare earth
1 cup kelp meal
4 qts perlite
2 qts vermiculite
Mixed well and slighty moistened with liquid karma. About 10ml per gal.
I am going to be vegging for a bit this time around so I will also be adding some high N bat guano.
One very important thing with this mix. It needs at least 2 weeks to marinade together. If you plant right away into it all sorts of funky things can happen.
This mix will feed for 2 or 3 weeks on its own. But it is also a cool enough mix I can also start introducing nutes at about anytime I wish without much fear of burning. Thats why I rarely use Blood or Bone meal anymore. Too easy to burn them when using them in your mix.

All three Red Diesels popped yesterday. And I also planted a Bubba Kush and Chronic to go along with them. The Querkles and Purple Rains are being moved to another journal.

I just started gowing about 45 days ago my friend but I will be following and listening to growers like you, and hopefully some day you will be drooling over pictures of my plants!!!!! Once again nice plants bro!
