Tobacco Mosaic Virus aka "TMV".?

So I'm not saying this is Mosaic Virus, but this is the exact visual symptom that pretty much all of the threads in all of the forums identify as Mosaic Virus. I only found it in this one leaf on just one plant, which otherwise looks fine, so it doesn't seem very viral, but who knows? Anyone have any insights on it?

It's just that one leaf on the plant so far, so I wouldn't have thought anything of it except it looks just like what people are calling TMV. It's from an otherwise fine looking young plant in veg in pro-mix well fed with hydro nutes.

I am not sure that TMV can even spread to Marijuana plants. Lots of people claim that it's the virus, but I haven't seen anyone ever send a sample out to get tested and have it come back positive for TMV. I think people just jump to conclusions about things.

Yeah, I have the same suspicion. I've just had other leaf symptoms that I never had in the past and nothing I've changed has fixed them, so I started to think virus. There's a few threads on it over at ICMag. I'm getting lots of fried leaves in bloom that reduce my yields even after I've reduced nutrient ppm and temps to levels below what used to work great. All my strains have the problem. Just frustrated and baffled.

Any more opinions?..........

Marijuana leaves will sometimes curl up or down from ph problems, heat problems , over watering or over fertilization. When the hook out to the side and with yellowing like in the picture you have Tobacco Mosaic Virus. Get rid of any plants with hooked out leaves. Eliminate any biting bug problems. Build your plants natural immunity with neem, amino acids and b-vitamins. Don't reuse pots, coco or soil from infected plants.
Sterilize with steam cleaners or boiling water. Spray alcohol to decontaminate pots(second time after steam or hot water), walls and tables. Keep your fingers crossed (along with the rest of you).Once you get rid of all the infected plants and everything else looks Irey don't go drooling over a bunch of bug and virus infested / infected clones and such. If you don't bring anything new in you won't have to fight it later.

Both the hemp mosaic virus or the streak virus are extremely stable. It spreads through contact, so touching an infected plant then handling another clean plant will transmit the infection. It also is carried by bugs, meaning it should be treated as if it is air-born. When i had this virus I was turned on to a product by my chemist friend that doesn't cure the virus, but will treat the symptoms allowing you to finish your grow and get a normal yield before scrapping and sterilizing everything in your room. You can find the prodct at hempmosaicvirus.com and its called RNA Pro. Its super expensive, but it works and it saved me a lot more cash than the product costs. Since it is an expensive product, Id rule out all possibilities first. goodluck

that is not TMV i have witnessed TMV in person and it doesn't look like that. I would shoot fort another reason the leaf looks like that.
