Tolerance break question

I've been smoking for roughly a year and want to have a 2 week tolerance break. However upon researching I read multiple times that 2 weeks won't be enough as thc residue builds up in your body fat. Now, does this mean that it varies between people depending on their body weight? Could it be that very very skinny people don't need to take a tolerance break as long as what a... Larger person would as they have less body fat? Or does it not build up enough to make a difference between skinny people and people with more body fat?

Two weeks will be better than nothing ....I stopped smoking for a week and was ripped off a single joint when I started back. Just start back slowly

I've run into the same tolerance problem. I haven't gone more than 2 days without smoking in 18 years, so I have a very high tolerance. I decided that I was gonna take a break til after harvest has cured. It's only been a couple days now, but am shooting for at least a couple weeks. I just got tired of watching friends smoke my shit and get wasted, and it doesn't phase me. A break is always good, it makes for more appreciation for herb. Good luck to you!

I've never posted on any message board before, but I wanted to share my experience with a tolerance break. I have been smoking since I was 20 (35 now) and had never taken any sort of break until Jan 2012. At the time I was broke, wasn't getting high anymore, and I was truly miserable. I started to feel very guilty about smoking, so one day I just quit. Threw away my papers, pipes, and put my vape away. About a month later, my last grow was up for harvest, and I decided to test some in my vaporizer. What a surprise! Honestly, I had not felt that stoned, in such a good way, in years! Maybe since I started. It was so incredibly strong that there was no doubt that it was because of my month-long break. I ended up picking up the habit again. It was amazing. I just started another month-long break today, and Im excited. I can't wait to toke up again in Sept. because I now know what to expect. If you can abstain for a month from smoking, do it. You will love it! Save money, clear your head for a bit, and then enjoy MJ the way it's meant to be enjoyed.

P.S
I used a dry sauna 5-6 days a week for 20 mins at a time, to sweat everything out. Helps relax you as well, especially beneficial during the first few days.
