Ya but the main stalk cant bend back up if it is held down just the part of it above the anchor point will point up, and then the individual buds will turn up it will not go back to the original size. Trust me I have done this plenty of times it will make your plants shorter and allow the lower branches to get the same amount of light as the top increasing yield.
