Too crowded?(pic)

There is NEVER enough room, is there?

Never enough room if you are doing it right. LOL BD - How long do you think that new clone veg cabinet is going stay where it is? I bet you could move it and make more room for that new 1000W HPS lamp you're girls are dreaming of being under. :hump:

Ha. Almost pulled the plug on a 1000 from the get-go. Let myself talk myself out of it. And man, the clone cabinet was great to have there when I had no clones and could just use it as a table. Who knew there was a fine line between calming and claustrophobic. I don't suppose I am the only one who walks into their room, regardless of the crowd, and just kinda watches things dancing n growing, growing and dancing...to the point of having to shake your head and remind yourself you got shit to do.

You'll save a lot of room

I tried to prevent them fronm getting all wild. They are like 5 weeks veg and 2 or 3 weeks flower in these pics. 1 month and 2 weeks from seed

Go crazy on two of them! You can spare them, it will likely get too crowded for 8 anyway. Whatever you fuck up is just tuition in the school of life.
I actually did LST a couple last week but it was difficult with the level of horizontal crowding to see any advantage. With the others so tall and close it seemed like the LST took them out of the light as opposed to opening them up to it. I released them. Going to mess with that and the cropping when I can manage the canopy before I actually have one. Going to lollipop 1 of each of the 2 strains I am growing for the schooling there.

If you just LST the tallest shoots everything eventually gets to the same level. But no matter, just glad you have healthy plants and flowers on the way!

Probably could have made it work and actually was looking at choosing different shoots, when I decided to let them go commando. Yeah...still just beautiful...posted the latest pics in the 5 day Dark thread.

I hear you about the trimming at least, its tough to start cutting off branches. I'm a newb as well and my first grow in hydro took over with no room to do much of anything. Its hard to lst when your just covering other branches lol. You will have to start tying things down Near the end I think just to keep them out of the light. Being this is your first go I would (if myself) just let them do their thing. Yes its gonna get crowded and yes you may get some popcorn but it makes really good hash :). I have actually had lower branches produce some huge colas, Critical and White Russian were one's that from bottom up had big buds, would have been disappointed if I had cut them. I missed the time frame from 12/12 but by the looks of it you still have a bit of stretch to go. Very nice grow btw.
