Too early to clone?

OK its a two part question. This is my first plant. I want to take clones. Is it too small to clone from?
Also Im concerned that its not bushy enough.
Should I cut the top down?
Suggestions?

Once the new shoots that pop out at the nodes are about 4-5 inches long go ahead and clone.

Cutting the top won't really make it bushier but it will give you two main colas instead of one if you do it right.

Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to get 2 or 4 MAIN colas

If you don't want to top it you could also just pinch the top where you want it to bend just enough to bruise it and make it bend over. The plant will heal itself and create a sort of elbow.

there is a branch at the bottom, you can also cut that one.
