Too early to start ??

Hello I'm trying to figure out when to start my full season clones that will be going into 30 gallon smart pots. My only worry is if I start them now they might get root bound? Any advice on when to start for that size pots? Cheers

I always get so anxious for the season to start that I just can't wait to get my clones, so I usually end up a month ahead of schedule....

I would start clones for outdoor season indoors mid April.
Keep them in 1-2 gallon pots (easy to transplant)
Keep veg light hours on 18/6 or 16/8 to prevent early flowering when put outside.
Don't put outside until mid to late May.
Don't put directly into sun, acclimate under a shade tree for the first day or 2.
