Too high, Too wide, Too old.

My 6, 3-month old almost 4' tall girls (recently checked sex because it's getting crowded) in my 4'x4' indoor garden are at most 1' from lights. I think it's time to go 12/12 so I read-up a bit and learned that They are going to get too tall, so my plan is to start to train them with string and wire.

My question is: is 6 plants too many for a 4'x4' ? & does anyone know of a good tutorial to tie teach branches down.

I like SOG but I have only access to one side. Uggg.

thanks in advance .

It depends on the size of the plants. In your case 6 may be too many because of the 3 month gro/veg time. The main idea is to fill that 4x4 area with as many colas as possible regardless of the number of plants.

Tie them back and pinch for more tops to control vertical. Good luck.

tieing down will take up more of your room when u tie a vertical branch horizontal every node will become a cola if u veg right
if u running outa room flip to flower big tall plats does not mean big yeild

with correct training u can train a plant like this

that's about 3 foot tall was straight from clone into flower the clone was topped and trained will yield about 4 oz dry in under 10 weeks from start to finish

Here's the clump. I need to defoliate and then I'll (yeah!) force flower. I can drop the bottom or raise the top. Probably drop the bottom because I'm fighting heat, 90° at top / <70° soil level.

I know I need to wack some branches, it's too hard to decide. Thanks for looking.

Looks real good!

So, when a cola is ready to havest you cut it out for curing and leave the rest to keep getting ripe? thus perpetual gardening?

I'm definately want quality over quantity.

I have more room to spread them out but that's more work. Out of the six plants I should sacrifice to them. How should I go about that? Take pics of each one? One is kind of sickly looking, some yellow leaves on it maybe i was a little heavy on the fertilizer.
