The idea with a carbon filter is there is no smell! I'd not vent out of your window in any case as it might attract unwanted attention. Think your own situation through though. What is wrong with venting out of the tent and back into the room? Just open the window if it feels stuffy.Okay I am purchasing a carbon filter ,ducting and a 6 inch inline fan, my knowledge was to attach carbon filter in tent and ducting to inline fan placed in window so that air from tent is sucked through carbon then blown outside pointing down at my patio? So the smell just goes around out of house ? Is their a diff between inline and outtake fan? Would I need a duct pushing fresh air in as well as pushing out ?
thanks
To answer your other question....
As long as there is an opening of some sort in the tent to allow fresh air to be pulled in (this is called 'passive intake') then you'll be fine. Remember any opening in the tent has the possibility to let light inside during dark periods. Making sure the opening of the tent faces a dark/dim part of the room would be a good start.
