Too Late to Grow Outdoors

Is it too late to get some autos in the greenhouse next month if I live FL? How well would they do start to finish?

I did not see your thread, and posted a similar question not ten minutes after you posted your. I live in SC, and have 4 white castle's that I want to put outside next week, but I've never grown outside so am not sure. I think your autos will do great! I have had two I've grown indoors so far and they finished up in exactly ten weeks. I don't think you will have any problems. The white castle I have are female, but not autos thats why I am wondering if I waited too long to try to grow outside. Good luck!

I will not actually even start them til' the beginning or middle of Sept. There seems to still be plenty of sunlight and warmth in FL at that time, and they are short lived auto like the 10 wk ones you did eldenvron, so I think they will be ok. Probably just not as big of yield as if I had started them a month ago. Hopefully someone knowledgable will chime in. Would love to live in SC someday...

You should be fine with the autos outdoors. You won't get as big of a yield unless you do something to supplement the sun by adding lights (to give it more "sunlight" than they would get through the shorter daylight)

What Mike said...if you veg plants indoors this time of year in FL you can put them outside and have them flower...I've harvested in April this past year after growing a "winter" crop...g/l
