too late to start?

Hey I don't have a laptop or a desktop.. do all my posting and uploading from my phone lol, it can get to be a bitch at times! I'm down to one seedling now but she is doing well in this hot weather I'm surprised

good to hear that. my 3 are doing well too. one of them is going to be much smaller than the others but whatevs. hoping they are all fem but never know. still no signs of sex, I cant imagine they will go any longer than one more week without showing but tbh this is my first time trying 12/12 from seed.

dtill haven't fed them as I amended the soil with some worm castings that should get them throught till about week 2-3 of flower.
 
Well you know they will show sooner or later hah, probably withing a week at your rate.. Here's what my little one looks like right now

yes looks good, kinda small but the heat im sure is keeping it from growing as fast as it can.. first pic is the hydro plant, done stretching will be small but there will always be another grow. Im actually working on setting up my veg tent soon so I can start vegging while these finish up. the last pic is the runt.

where did everyone go?

no sex showing on the seedlings yet but im hoping soon...

I have learned this...there is really no point in doing 12/12 from seed except to keep plant sizes down..it has been 3 weeks now and still no signs of sex..if I had vegged for 2 weeks then flipped I would have bigger plants and prob be flowering by now. I cant say for sure but seems 12/12 from seeds just slows the whole process down and keeps the plants small. great for certain styles of grow I guess.

ill get pics up once they show sex.

Hey Mat, looking good dude. The plant will show sex when it is sexually mature, it's not like a clone where it will show sex after a week. The seed grown plant needs to be mature, usually about a month and it will start IME.

yeah I know, that's why im saying 12/12 from seed is kinda a waste..all your doing is stunting growth with less light hours and end up waiting the same amount of time as you would if you veg for 3 weeks then flip, the extra veg time will allow the plant to grow faster thus becoming larger in the same time period and reaching maturity about the same time or faster.

so my conclusion is its great for a SOG grow where your limited on space but if your not and have the ability to run a veg cycle for 3 weeks prior prior to flipping you will most likely see a larger yield in the end.
 
You should have started them in solo cups mate the roots are going be so weak i bet you aint evan had to water them yet
 
Hey mat, looking good! I've been out lately and haven't had a chance to post or take pics of my grow. I'll post an update later on today when I get home from work
 
Okay, finally home and have some free time for an update. So, weather has dropped down to the mid 80's low 90s this past week so she's showed some progress, not much but more than it has been. Almost looks a little n deficient so I'm gonna feed like 1/8 strength veg nutes tomorrow. What do you think?

I highly doubt it needs nitrogen so early in its growth....

a few girls i havnt fed at all this year and are completely healthy.

The medium your using looks like it has sticks in it, not ideal mj conditions.
Usually growers stick to a mainly Peatmoss base.
