Hello,

is my ratio too much, causing deficiencies?
3rd week of flower feeding Deep Water Culture
pH 5.8-6.0
Ppm 910 (tap water is 100ppm) so technically 810ppm of nutrients
Per 4gallons of water
0tsp Flora Grow
6tsp Micro
6tsp Bloom

Cal/mag 4tsp
Heavy 16 Roots 1tsp
Heavy 16 Fire 4tsp

3tsp Hydroguard

is 4tsp of cal mag too much?

How do you know you even need calmag.........you're using tap water.
Why aren't you using the grow?
I think you're heavy on the nutes........I use 1/3 of what you use.
I use 2.5 ml per gallon........that would be 2 tsp per 4 gallon.
I also think you're too high on the calmag......I use 2 ml per gallon with r/o water.

Didn't catch that part the first time around. Was wondering how the hell a gallon of water with 6tsp of Micro and Bloom, as well as all that other stuff, only came out to 900ppm. Are you shooting for something like the Lucas formula? Why no Grow?

It’s 4 gallons of water. Here’s what the leaves look liked like at 650ppm with cal mag.

I use ro water that’s about 6 .
24ml in 5 gallon and that gives me 160ppm.
I would think your not too far off.
Now the 800 , if on the 500scale that’s 1.6ec.
That would be way to hot for my ladies taste.

I've had the same bottle of CalMag for a few years now. When I bother to use it at all, it's usually just 1/4tsp. I'm not a big fan of a bunch of additives. Here's what I plan on basing my coco run off using GH Flora series.

Same here. When I decided to ditch bottled nutes, I looked GH but went to Jack's. I have a bottle of CalMag, still. I use it to hold the door open when I need to run the hoses out back to swap a res. If your nutes are good and your environment is good, it's not needed.

"I'm not a big fan of a bunch of additives." - same here. I use the same mix from seedling to chop. Different strength but same ratios. Cannabis needs 18 (19?) chemicals. As long as those chemicals are afforded to the plant in the sufficiency range, the plant will reach its genetic potential.
