too much co2? regulator broke.

Now it seems as if my plants are suffering. Didn't notice till the next day, my ppm's went past 4000 ppm, and now my plants look like shit (droopy and turning light green. I think they will recover, but has this happened to anyone else?

hhmm, i have ran higher lvls of c02 (5k+) with no plant problems (sealed enviro) before, no drooping or color change~
not sure if its the c02, might be something else..

any pics?

I'm fairly new at growing. I did lots of research about c02 and my understanding is you can't really have to much. C02 too plants is like oxygen too humans. I agree with Canawizzard look around for other problems.

CO2 can 100% do this to your plants.... Over 4000 ppms for very long would definitely make them do what your describing.... Ive had the same exact thing happen to me.... My controller stuck in the on position...... I went into my room and it was not only hot as hell (because my burner was running constantly for hours)- but my PPMs were like 6000 when I finally got a reading..... I got the fuck outta there quick so I didnt DIE, and aired it out best I could.... The next day my plants were a funny green and all droopy looking.... People seem to think that plants cant get too much co2, but this is a huge mistake... CO2 will fuck your whole shit up if not used correctly... YOu need a good regulator/controller, and you need to check it often to make sure its running properly...

and probably 100% humidity, this is what caused YOUR problem. and c02 is not carbon monoxide, it will suffocate you yes, but you would feel like your drowning and get out before you would die. And even carbon monoxide gets you sick before it puts you to sleep.

No, it was 50% humidity like normal, as the dehumidifier was still working fine.... The damage was from too much CO2 and heat.... if you want to believe you will make it out of there just "being sick" before dying, thats all you... Let me assure you, you can die from CO2. You will pass out before you get out in time....
