Too Much Nitrogen 4 Weeks Flowering In Subcools Supersoil

with that much N your buds may taste bad. Epsom salt and cal/mag block the uptake of N. so if you feed with cal/mag, its still possible to starve the plant of nitrogen before you harvest, hence reaping some tasty weed. my Nitrogen used to get locked out when i used too much molasses(which has cal/mag/iron), my advise is to water with 5 tbsp of molasses per gallon of h20, every watering for the last ~1.5 weeks...

just trying to through out some plausible ideas to help!
I appreciate your concern. I think I am just going to ride it out with just water till the end of this one. Organic nute burn is a little different than a synthetic burn and ph lockout. There is nothing immediate in an organic garden, slow and steady to show problems as well as fixing problems.

thanks Propagate, i got lost.

I have have noticed that when my buds are Set and before they swell seems almost exactly what they look like once they are dried. photo 4 looks like about 3.5- 5 oz

This is just my thought but how can the food in super soil last so long yet not burn plants?? Just doesn't make sense to me?

the blood meal is highly soluble and very readily available. The peruvian seabird guano is mostly insoluble nitrogen and takes quite a bit longer to break down. They are 2 different sources of nitrogen in the mix. You want p and k?

Ya I agree with fdd, trying to do anything at this point isn't gonna really help that much but I'm still sticking to the theory that you need to keep your N higher during flowering.. Try it next round and I bet you won't get those fucked up fan leaves anymore
+1...
Not going to get too into it but plants use as much and sometimes MORE nitrogen early flowering versus vegetating. Cutting N late flower is fine, cutting an essential nutrient as soon as you cut to flower is a silly idea.
and I'm guessing the reason this organic soil calls for adding cal/mag, is because the soil is super nuted with Nitrogen, so much Nitrogen that it needs to be blocked by adding some cal/mag!!!
Calcium doesnt block nutrient uptake, calcium is one of the main propagators in nutrient uptake. Adding cal/mag may help people who stop feeding with N because it allows the plant to take the nitrogen it is starving for from the soil.

Yeah I actually fluffed it up with a little more ocean forest, maybe a few cups. Then added the ocean forest on the top 60%. Since I'm a puny girl, I have to mix it where it is gonna be the entire grow.
