These plants went into soil as germed seeds about 7 and half weeks ago... I get the impression that, not only are they short (which I think may be a soil issue, but any other suggestions welcome) but they are shooting out all over the shop, which I have been trimming back lower ones to promote growth on the upper ones..

I have them under 150w 6500k CFL's with a 23w 2700k just to help even things a little. I try and keep them about 3 inches above the plants

Water is Mineral water, adjusted to 6.5pH with a quarter of the recommended feed which is Biogrow 8 - 2 - 6

Thanks in advance

The trimming that you're doing well slow the growth down. They look good. Like the man said said, If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Maybe work on canopy management is all.

Just sitting back drinking a cold one. I'm on the gulf coast here and we're supposed to get hit with a very large storm. They're saying up to twenty inches of rain in some places.

They look great! I wouldn't trim at all, most folks WANT short and bushy versus tall and lanky. LST to control height (if thats a concern) and let em go

Thanks for all your advice!

I thought trimming the lower leaves helped promote growth at the top, but i'll leave them be for now. (i took 6 cuttings from the lower stems the other day, and plan to take another 2, but thats it). And i'm still at least 3 weeks from flipping them to 12/12

I agree they look very healthy and happy. It is more then likely just strain related. Enjoy!
