thanks. I'm not sure if I'm over watering or under watering the plants are in 3x3x1 planter box type and I have my drip on on for like almost an hour.

In my experience a good 3 to 5 days in between watering is the way to go for the vegging cycle... I water slowly until I notice water coming from the holes, add a bit more and stop. I hardly ever completely saturate the soil..

Puff.

I live in a hot place where teps goes up to 110 so I have to water everyday and if I go without watering 3 to 5 days my plants will eventually die. Also I kinda hard for me to see if the water runs all the way down. My other strain is doing real good the top cola is the size of a 40oz beer bottle but it's not dense and my purple diesel is 5 feet tall 5 feet wide (give or take) and the bid is small so I'm hoping it will turn out the way I hope it will.

to be right and exact, there isn't a such thing as over watering, if any thing you would have waterlogged plants. as long as you drain your plants correctly and allow for plant to dry out between waterings you should be good.

Water plants until water starts to come from the drain holes, make sure to not leave dry spots in the soil and depending on soil, light, heat, ventilation and plant size.
Water cannot not be scheduled since some plants drink more, heat from the light and fans can dry the soil faster than normal but just having a good mix of soil can
go a long way, like soils with too much perlite will need to be watered every 1-2 days and soil with something like vermiculite in it may retain water a lil longer.
I used to go by the weight of the pot but now i just water when dry on top and repeat the watering process.

The soil I use is called 215 soil and my local landscaping mix it up with all sorts of things and they sell it by the yard at $50. I fed my plants with 5 gallons of water once per week and then I turn my drip line on for about 30 minutes everyday. Anyone here grow purple diesel if so how big are the buds cuz mine is small. I don't think I'm gonna use them 215 soil again because it sucks I don't know why he puts tons of big rocks in it.

How is that working for you with a daily drip (I know that doesn't sound healthy LOL). You don't let them dry out a bit between waterings?

It drys up because it's so hot over here if I don't water them like how I'm watering them they will get droopy. But now it's cooling down so I water less. This weekend to tuesday it's over 100 degrees . If it was you wouldn't you water your plant everyday if it's over 100 degrees?

When the temps go down I water less. The thing is my drip line water comes out where ever I put it at and I have it in the center and it takes a long time to get the whole soil wet and sometimes after I water with my drip line the water doesn't even come out from the bottom. When I dig all the way down the soil sometimes is dry.
