I read the book which contained excerpts of his journal, the dumb ass (McCandless)
killed a Caribou and thought it was a moose and then he let the thing rot instead of smoking/drying the meat.

With some of the stunts he pulled, I'm really surprised it didn't happen sooner - I have an acquaintance whom was the pilot that dropped them off and later discovered the kill scene.
I've seen some of the Cop pictures, gruesome to say the least.

Timmy had started making documentaries and I passed them around at work; prior to the grand feast. We were all amused and aghast at the stupidity. Then news came that the grand Lunch occurred and we were useless for the day. No sympathy for the stupid.

I remember the documentary about the Grand Luncheon; they are talking to a F&G warden and the guy is describing it and Timmy's previous campouts.....the poor dude was incredulous, and I couldn't help but feel he was aghast at the film folk for even having a tad of sympathy.
