Sooo.... living in Japan makes growing REALLY hard especially if you can't read the packaging but I got a couple seeds in a V.expensive purchase (70$ a gram!!) so I thought I'd give it a shot. Never done this before and no idea how it would work but thought it's a weed right??!!
1 seed sprouted, yes only 1 haha but just LOOK what it turned into!!! This baby is about 5 feet tall and oh so beautiful!!! I tried to clone it a while back but had to leave them whilst on holidays and my watering system failed, the green giant didn't though, grew like 2 feet in 8 days!!

SO, what's a girl to do??? I THINK it's starting to flower?? am posting some pics that I think (hope) have the little love hairs that mean I won't have a massive male full of seeds... can you tell now? Is it too early?? Any help would be really appreciated!!

You can't tell by the pics, but yes it's ready to flower. It looks sativa dominant to me so it's going to grow more through out flowering. What you need to do now is light dep it (12 hours of light, 12 hours or darkness) to truley show the sex of the plant. I dont know if you have been doing 12/12, but if you see little white hairs coming out your in buisness. Balls=toss.

Hey Zeke I see you live in Oregan (or apparently) but have you ever heard of a strain called butt glue? My brother fishes down there and he gets it in port orferd; pretty good stuff.

cause after the plant gets so big the roots get bigger and it cant stay in a small pot

how big is your pot? (in gallons or liters)

Haven't heard of that but then again I really wouldn't expect to being as I am my own caregiver.

I'm a little worried about repotting it tho, it's the only one!!

Not sure how big the pot is... Any suggestions on how to re-pot it safely?? I figure just take the whole pot full out and put it into the bigger pot..?!
Should it be at night to protect the roots from excess light or in the day to give it energy from the sun (light) to recover from the shock????
Who would have thought it would grow so big?? In mid July it was a little over a foot...!

if the plant is in that small of a put.. it is probably real easy to pull the whole plant out (including soil, roots and all) in one peice.. wait til the soil drys a little, put some soil in the new pot with a big hole dug to fit the plant.. and plant the plant in there.. i cant explain it well but you should be able to find pics.. its the same as repotting any plant.. i would do it quick before its really flowering.. go get a 5 gallon pot and a bag of soil

You can do an advanced search right here on rollitup.. and type in "transplanting" and search by title instead of post.. plenty of info will come up

Thanks! Sounds do-able...can't wait for it to start flowering!!
Stupid question but does that mean the "growth" has stopped? Also, is there any way to find out what kind it is??? Not that it makes a difference, just would be cool to know...

when it flowers.. it will grow more.. especially the first 2 weeks.. i dont think your gonna find out what type of plant it is.. but it looks like a sativa so it grows tall
