Tool is cool

Im not a metal head or anything, but ive always liked Tool. Theyre lyrics may be dark and depressing, but something about it makes me think and i love songs that make me think. I found an interesting article on it

Tool is THE only music i listen too when i get super high man, its so phychadelic especialy the lateralus cd i listen to reflection pretty much every time. its great, makes me feel stoned even when im sober

Same here man. I watched metalocalypse when i was shroomin for the first time, that was pretty intense but tool has a cool style and when im high and not in the best mood.. then i only listen to tool too lol

TOOL is fucking awesome

I just seen them live on the 1st!! Waited 15 yrs for that! Best show I have ever been too. Now I am learning tool songs left and right on guitar, seeing them gave me the motivation to get around the weird time sig's. I've listened to them forever just not as a guitarist, now that I do I find a whole other song in every song. I don't neccesarily find the lyrics to be all down tho? It's not the easy listining some might be used to tho, like someone said makes you think, and open your mind. At the show they started by filling the place with smoke/fog/ somethinig that smelled like incense or sweetgrass. Set the mood and away we went!

They are all amazing artists on thier own yet manage to cram that all together to form a sonic assault on our ears!!! Learned a preety good acoustic version of the song Right in two over the last two days! Very hard to do a Tambla solo on guitar tho lol.

I think i wanna set up a studio and learn some of that. I dont play bass, but i can see myself playing that

bass is where its at man. all songs are centered around it
