Hi RIU,
I am a Noob and in my mind the more things "I know exactly" the better I feel.

I have acquired a group of meters.

PH meter
TDS meter for PPM
EC meter electrical conductivity
directional heat gun for Temp
Par meter for light
air speed meter for air movement.

What do you use?

I don't use anything....lol

But sounds awesome man, I would play with a light meter for hours if I had one
 
I started with the PH and the PPM meters.
Each time a question came up I got a tool to get an answer.

If you are growing hydro you almost have to use PH and PPM meters.

The others are ancillary but all come in very handy to
Understand what's going on in my veg and flower and what's said in the forums.
 
gorilla tape, twist ties, panda plastic is very nice can use for a bunch of stuff, also the ol loupe and microscope.
 
Panda film is a definite.

I like removable zip ties, I can string them together to make larger ties.
Then take them apart when I want to.
 
Gorilla tape kicks ass.... but it does bond with skin, so expect blisters if you don't cut it with scissors.....
 
18 inch tweezers, makes getting into the plant so much easier. Great for pulling pollen sacs off of males, picking out nanners when they pop up, the longer you have them the more uses you acquire.
