Any system you will need to learn what you are doing. The bubble bucket (described above) is probably the easiest and cheepest to get set up.

It is perfect for one or two plants and only costs about $20 to set up

And grows monster plants. 5 gallon dwc treated right with 1000w. Wow. Everything else to me personally is just over complicating
