I've done it a few times. The end result was never worth the extra time, effort and space involved imo. Lowers that lacked light the whole flower cycle won't ever fatten up.
That time is better spent on the next grow.

the only time I stagger harvest is when I’m running low on drying space. Lol.

Does anyone chop top collars that are ripe and leave the rest to fatten up …?
Also check out this auto I grew the main collar was fat!!
From experience the “lowers” don’t fatten up. They do ripen more but usually don’t get any more dense than they already are.

Agreed there mate i harvest once screw messing about if theres any that aint ripe enough into edibles or the hash pile it goes id maybe consider it with a super long flowering haze phenos or something for ripening purposes but otherwise i dont see the benefit of running in the hopes formerly shaded bud fattens up especially with the price of power these days
