starting my first hydro grow this week.....have a 20 g reservoir 20 plant tray,top drip into rockwool. 2 airstones in the res as i type airating the h20 and my ph is right around 6 when i take drainage from the rockwool. my question is once i get them going how often should i set the timer to feed and for how long ???? also i notice it takes no time at all for roots to come out of 1" cubes.....will the roots outgrow the 8" blocks and the slabs in my hydro tray ???? And if so is it ok or at that point should i put in more slabs ????? Soil is soooooo simple....hope this is worth the time and expense.
