Top half dry.

Well as obvious as it is, I under watered my plant. To make all that worse, my fan died, and temps reached 108 F.
This is my first time growing. I am at 3 weeks into 12/12 using FFOF with nothing but GO nutes in a 6" pot. Water when it goes dry, which is every two days(seems to be drying out sooner now during flowering). This happened a week ago, but watered right away, and she came right back. This time, the bottom half did. But not the top. After three days of the top half being pretty much dead, I pruned most of the dry leaves throughout. My main question is, is the bud now Fucked? Is the top half of the bud going to keep growing? Any help, comments, criticism are all appreciated. Good, or bad.

TIA.

Well looks like its back over to grasscity instead. Thanks for the all the wonderful help....

We might be able to help if you had more information relating to your question instead of the overload I see here...If the bottom of the plant is dead then the whole thing will die. You also go back and forth, is it the plants or the buds that are dry? Also pruning the dry leaves may have contributed to the death....maybe you took to many leaves at this stage in the cycle we can't really tell without at least a picture.
Also you can over water a plant that is completely dry with one watering session.

I re-read it, it does seem like it says died, but it in fact says did. As it came back. Sorry, I'm just worried about my baby. I will get pics up asap.

It's only a tiny cfl grow anyway. You didn't lose much. See what happens after a few days and when it doesn't come back, get an HPS and try again "for real" this time. I don't mean to be a downer, but even if that plant recovers, you probably won't even be able to recover the electricity cost and time for going forward. You may as well just go to the dealer and buy a quarter of weed. In a higher scale production environment, I'd be trying to get a new clone into the freed up flowering space ASAP to keep things going.

Lol man aight...You can't just have a fan in there you need to get one in the side of your cardboard box pushing air outside so that it'll circulate. That period of high temp may have killed what you have though..you can hope that it was only stunted! Make sure to get it some water!

is that a cardboard box... oh my god haha. Sorry i just think that is an extremely bad idea to have hot bulbs and electricity running through a very combustible box. not to mention the reflectivity is probably like 10%. go forward with the grow in my opinion but for experience not for profit. You probably will get a few grams off it but very little that plant doesnt look healthy. CFL bulbs also need to be really close.
When you decide to grow again completely redesign your room. Dont use a carboard box it is possible to go cheap without sacrificing quality. here is an example
