Hi people , I am about 9 weeks into flower and some of the top leaves started to go brown a few weeks ago and now they are dry and crispy looking like they are ready to fall off, the temperature is usually between 27°c - 32°c and the humidity usually between 35% - 40%, I also checked the pH of the run off and it was lower than the pH of the feed which I heard means there is no salt built up.
I have an extraction fan and an oscillating fan running 24/7, what do you guys think it is? Any inputs would be appreciated. Thanks

No more nutes lol, you should’ve cut nutes at week 7 to properly flush them . Or else it’s gonna taste like sheit.
FLUSHING IS A MYTH! YOU CAN NOT "FLUSH" ANYTHING FROM A PLANT BY RUNNING A SHIT TON OF WATER THROUGH THE MEDIA!
Proper dry and CURE!

@Chrisjames47

Those plants are over feed and getting some minor lockout/blocking issues from the inevitable pH change from the overfeeding.

They have been over feed at least through bloom. The dark green, shiny leaves, say so. That's too much N...

Too much N in bloom - Another issue that lowers THC production.
In this case is by reducing trichome production.

Have you checked your buds? See if you can see the stem to make sure it’s not rot. I had a cola do that to me last run. Better safe than sorry :peace::joint: also looks very heavy on the N

That is a myth , but do you re own research , i dont flush , theres really good threads here about this matter, what is ure light and at what distance are u using it
Please show me where this is debunked. I’ve been looking for years. You are flushing the salts and soil so that the plant can use up what is left up through the roots. If nutes remain in your soil, your plant will continually absorb them... that’s common sense. As far as curing goes there’s many reasons to properly dry and cure other than taste.

Obviously, flushing doesn’t take anything out of your plant. It takes away from the soil. Therefore stopping further absorption of nutes. This DOES work. Show me proof it doesn‘t.

As far as what you propose. The plant will nullify your attempt.

As the plant looses the available nutrients. It simply begins to "feed" off it's self.
This in turn goes directly to where the plant is most active.
THE BUDS. This is exactly where YOUR trying to "lower" the nutrient content.

The plant, in a last ditch attempt to finish, is trying to reproduce. It will now increase the attempt, by starting to try to "self pollinate".
Some call this herming. In reality it is the plant making a bisexual shift to try to do this self pollination. The plant is NOT a hermaphrodite!

So then. The plant is still moving the thing you want to remove (nutrient ions) directly to where your trying to lower them.
AND you've increased the possibility of your plant "herming".

This is the science of the plant.... College educations trump Broscience every time...

The REAL key to smooth and flavorful smoke? Proper drying and curing!

Learn that!
