my top leaves on 3 of my plants are turning dark green and drooping from the center veins, i thought this was a phosphorus deficiency, but after some phosphorus nutrient to the soil still no change, after looking at many growing sites still can't seem to find the answer, ideas?????????????????

It's stretched due to lack of light... are you using natural light through the windows?
Your plant's stem and branch's look like they are going to have a hard time holding up buds.

Try putting more air to them with fans.... and more light if you can even flouros will help. stretching is when
your plants internodes grow too long.

You will have a plant thats 6 feet tall with only 8 internodes or so. The trick is to keep the plant short and have lots of internodes and branches.

Also if your plant wobbles from wind or misting then it really needs to be beefed up. What kind of nutes, soil and light are you using?

right now just using natural light, have a grow cabinet set up with 10 aquarium growing lights (that's all i could find so far, it's difficult to find HID lights in china :D other than that, for nutes, soil and so on, there's not much selection here, for the nutrients though i give them a seaweed nitrogen heavy NPK plant food, it's a bit tough trying to find a plant food that's marked in the same N-P-K measurements as you would find in north america or europe, oh and since that picture was taken added 2 more little fans, and transplanted like 6 of those ones in the little pots to another table on the other side of the balcony that doesn't have any fans yet, gotta get that taken care of, but anyways, i DOUBT it's lack of light, they're on the balcony and get LOTS of light, i'm pretty sure the balcony faces west so they get a LOT of sun and the temperture rises, still trying lots of things to get the temp down, it's been up to 30c for the last week, could the heat be a reason for them to be drooping? oh and for the soil i'm using a 7ph soil that i think has lots of nutrients, it's all in chinese, but i trust the ladies i buy it from at the plant markets and stuff :D everything's just a LITTLE bit different here than in the west, like for nutrients usually you can just buy powdered forms of hormones and nutes and so on. doing the best i can, but still looking around for ways to kill the heat, since lately that's been my main problem. also, trying to figure out a way to give them 12-12 light on the balcony without making the temp rise above 30c :P there's a clothes hanging rack above the plants which i could EASILY put a black sheet over and hang it, but wouldn't that make the temperture spike?

so anyways, back to the questions, trying to do the best i can for growing on a balcony in china with what i got!!! :D if the leaves are sagging cause of lack of light from a balcony facing west, how could i give them more light? it'd look really fishy using florescents on the balcony don't u think? (especially when 1/3rd of the plants are ready for flowering already)

hmmm yeah if your stuck with that space then using lights will be a problem. Heat will definately make your leaves droop.
Ok I got something small but will help a little bit with your light. Take white poster board or even plain white paper will work just not as good. Cut a slit
in the paper so you can slide the sheet underneath your plant. It will reflect the light back up to the plant.

heres a pic of my little setup.. you can see how i use the posterboards and set them on the surface of the pot.

I know this is ghetto but in case of emergency you can fill a bucket with ice.

Put it directly behind your fan, better if you take a cardboard box and fit it to the back of the fan then lift it up and put your bucket inside. Its a cheesy air conditioner but it works. even when the ice is melted the water stays cool for a while.

I know your probably thinking im a crackhead now... haha but I can't think of anything else if you dont have access to any air conditioning.
And keep your fans low to the floor, remember colder air sinks and heat rises you want to blow the cool air on your plants. Sure you already know this just trying to cover everything. Keep your plants on the high phosphorous nutes.. It will like that when comes time to flowering.

mmmmm let's see ummm about 4.30 till around 19.30 is what, 15 hours maybe? maybe longer, it's a bit weird in china there's no daylight saving so the sun sets earrrrly in summer, at like 7.30-7.45ish :P yeah maybe a 15 hour sun schedule, though i'm still looking for ideas about setting up a flowering tent on the balcony that won't heat up, though i gotta go get me an ice tray to make ice :D maybe i should get a fridge with an ice maker, damn that'd be sweet :D oh well, writing this while stoned :D best time i guess :D ok so anyways yeah about 15 hours, about the same as midwestern north america right now

but were you asking about direct sunlight? on that side between about 1pm and 5-6pm they get directly shined on

well that is kind of what I was leaning at. Not so much not enough hours of light but the intensity of the light

. Your plants really need at least 12 hours of good direct light. Maybe try to use a mirror to catch it at different angles... or some reflector. Too bad you dont have a sun roof =(

I don't know about chinese rule but do people really watch for pot growers there?

here in china where i live the police really leave you alone, not much of a police prescense, and as for the watching for pot growers, they really don't much know what pot is here, if you look in my photos there's a pic of weed that i found growing in the street last fall, there's hardly any weed here, most of what you find in this part of china is hashish

its mg deficiency and maybe some ozone damage if your leaves look like my attached pic.. n yea your plant is stretching due to lack of light if i was you get some light quick because your plant is gonna get really tall and when its flowering time its gonna bud pretty bad.. and get a fan blowing on your plants so itll help bulk up your stem to support your nuggets.. you want your plant filled like weed whisper pics.. thats a good grow looks nice n healthy and the green looks niceeeee.. seriously tho if i was u.. i would prune it (it will set you back on veg time tho. but it will benefit you later since your plant doesnt look so good) n some lights will do you great!! if your on a budget get some 40 watt florescent lights n just leave it very close almost touching your plant it wont burn it..youll see a big difference in growth. good luck

my plants have the drooping but not the spots, that's what's so odd about it :P i think before pruning i'm gonna try reorganizing the plants with the tallest ones in back and so on :) after that i'll prune :) though i'm not sure where to prune though, but i'm sure i'll figure it out soon enough, just prune away the leaves that overshadow leaves on other plants right?
