top newer leaves very droopy (pics), suggetions please.

Hi thanks for help ahead of time.

planted on 6/25/09, this plant is in regular peat moss.

ph 6.5
feeding once a week 24-8-12
watering when it needs it.

all the lower leaves are healthy and strong but the top part of the plant which is very bushy is all droopy...why could this be?

looks overall healthy to me. newer growth should not be such a dark green. I would back off ferts a little, but overall its looks good. have you been overwatering combined with prunning? When prunning be carefull not to overwater. less leafs=less water the plant uses. What happened to your lower fan leaves? How was the health of the fan leafs before prunning. They are great indicators for letting you know what is going on.

i took the fan leaves off but they were very healthy, damn i thought they were drooping maybe because a little nitrogen def so i gave it some today...hope that does burn em...

na you should be fine. Just back off the watering anytime you prune. You pulled a nice handful of healthy leaf matter. The heat stress that was recommended aint that bad, but could still use some correction if possible.

Since your plant was healthy before pruning. I would say your N is fine. Just looks a little abnormally dark green to me from the pic....but no where near anything to be worried about. Grow on man.

Don't cut fan leaves unless they are atleast 50% damaged/dead.
your removing solar cells that make what you toke, so cutting them cuts energy production to them later.
I'd stop with the fert for a week, let it dry out a bit as well.
Please tell me you arent using MG fert????

Heat Stress

Look closely, and you'll see the brown leaf edges that are indicative of heat stress. This damage looks alot like nutrient burn, except it occurs only at the tops of the plants closest to the lamps. There's only one cure for this...get the heat away from the plants, either by moving the lamps or moving the plants.

you only used peat moss?
no perlite/vercumlite???

that plant looks very healthy, don't cut the leaves at all they will fall on their own, new tops always look droopy at first, then later they open much bigger, good luck.

bro the newer upper leaves do that because they are still growing and they are going to be much bigger its nautral and then they will go flat like str8 across. you good bro
