Top or not????

So with hydro, 45 plants, 1000 hps and 6' mover, carbon filter, 6" exhaust fan, mylar, a/c and great nutes what is the best to top or not? Have read to remove the bottom branches, (how much is right)? and not top to get one main cola per plant. Also have read about topping and have done it on purpose and by accident. What is the best for good yields??? Have not done the one cola way yet but was thinking about it so help me make up my mind. Pros, cons. Thanks

i topped mine in hopes of gaining more colas but i dont even know if i did it right..

if you are working in a six foot grow area then it really depends on how long you plan to veg for and how much height you have to work with. if you plan to have some monsters then i would recomend topping early, the simple fim technique will produce 2-3 prominent stocks and plants that bush out creating a wide canopy. it will also accelerate growth in lower shoots aswell.on the other hand if your 45 netpots are closely spaced then you should not top, focus on one main cola. some growers even eliminate lower branches. i like to save them for re veg!. a picture of your setup would help put things in perspective.

its all about making a well developed even canopy to maximize light intake! so it totaly depends on the rooms specs
