Topped plant a week ago and everything was fine. I was lst one of the tops and the bulb partially broke and it was hanging a little. I rigged it up so the top and bulb are now supported. However that part of the plant has wilted. SHould I leave it rigged up supporting it or cut it ???
If its less the half way thru. prop it in place and use masking tape to hold it together. Ive also used cloneing powder to put on the wound. It should grow back together. Or clone it.
Well propped it up and used cloning gel like a glue ???? How many days should I give it to bounce back ??? And what percentage of my yield did I probally lose if I have to chop it ???
Abit of tape will fix her up. I have snapped a plant completely before and a bit of duck tape and a couple of days of shock (me and her) lol but she turned out to be my best yielder !
take a piece of straw and us it as a splint. If you leave the tape a bit lose, but still holds the stem up, then it will allow the stem to grow while repairing. I will not do it any other way.
my first super crop I ended up having a hole in the middle of the stem on one of the secondary stems. It finished fine, as it was the best yield of the 4 branches.
I have a question about my 4 main branches on my plant. There are also 2 secondary flowers closer to the base should I just trim them off since they are so low on the plant?? Just to concentrate on the 4 main branches ??
