I topper my 2 girls as soon as it got to the 3rd node. Have I fucked this completely or will it just take way longer to grow now?

3rd node is fine, i top loads and end up with monsters, average about 8z per plant dry

No, it will be fine. The SCROG guide says wait for the 5th leaf set, but it doesn't really matter. The plants will adapt.

A lot of people chop at the 3rd node. I chop at the 5th to ensure my plant is a little more mature but you’ll be fine! Will make it easier to train those sweet baby girls
