Topping an autoflower?

I'm hoping to grow 5 Nirvana short riders ( got 3 sprouts and concerns on the other two ) These are fems so hopefully males won't be an issue. My question is this. I'm growing in a very small box...2ftx4ftx4ft tall. I can fit 5 2gal pots inside. These autoflowers grow anywhere fro 2ft to 4ft tall. If they were'nt autoflower, I would not hesitate to top them and get 4 colas instead of one. But these have such a short veg period ( 3 weeks on some) That i'm afraid of losing yield if they don't grow much after I top them.....ANY SUGGESTION WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. THANKS

I definetly wouldn't recommend topping an autoflower, but you can lst them no problem

no don't top LR's, the fact is its counterproductive toping plants with very little to no veg period. as coolbreeze13 says lst them, its is the way to go because this method will increase flower production no doubt about it
