If you throw a pic up I may be able to help...I use a combo of bending and pinching and when done properly they make sum bushes!

What i mean by pinching is teh FIM method of topping. Where you "pinch" off the top 3/4 of the very very top sprout, redirecting growth to the lower branches, causing the area where you pinched to produces 2+ branches, with very little stress on the plant... Jorge Cervantes has a good discription of the process in his book.

you once you get some of the lower branches involved you bend them out and position them to be where you want and pinch your lower branches. You want to wait like 2 weeks inbetween each pinching. Bending, i basically do very little bending each day. i kind of strech the plant's stem, up and down the whole thing not just where i want the bend. if you do a little strech on the whole stem the tend to go out with very little stuntage of growth.

The one above is around 2.5 months old now, its been flowering for almost 3 weeks. The idea is MORE ROOTS MORE FRUITS! When you flip a mature plant, the node regions tend to be much tighter and you have a higher quality of smoke ( both of these traits main influence is gentical. By flowering a mature plant the chances of getting the largest yields and highest potency is greatly improved)

Try to put some pics up.
